The former Beatle and one of the most famous people in the world, Paul McCartney was enjoying himself at the Nets game. When you watch most pro sports, most of the big celebs are stoic, and reserved at the games. The Beatles are a big part of my life, and they're my favorite band of all-time, so I had to post this.

If Brad Stevens watched NBA basketball for the past couple of years or so. He'll remember Doc Rivers taking questions about rumors every other day. When Danny Ainge is your General Manager, your kind of screwed when it comes to the press asking about rumors. Brad Stevens laid the law down a bit with the press, and his response was clear and to the point.

The return of Rondo has all of us a bit chipper these days. It's been 11 months since Rondo has hit the floor with the Celtics, and all of us can't wait to see what Rondo can do after the injury, and first of all I think most of us are just happy to have him back. The practice court Sunday was a buzz with Rondo's return, and many of his teammates are thankful.

I feel for Jordan Crawford, he's worked so hard, and he's earned playing time, and a starting role. Going into the role as starting point guard this season, it was going to be short lived for someone, and that someone happens to be Crawford. When the season started it was Bradley running the point. Bradley was going to start either way, and for a stint the Celtics started Gera...Read Full Post »

I believe Brad Stevens should be one of the early favorites for coach of the year. First of all, hes playing without his All-Star Rondo. Brad has also messed up most critics predictions, the Celtics still lead the Atlantic despite them losing their last two games. Brad Stevens has spat in the face of Danny Ainge's rebuild, not literally of course, but Stevens has his tea...Read Full Post »

Brad Stevens was calm, cool, and collected as always when asked about Doc for the past couple of days. Stevens showed Doc great respect, and did we expect anything less from Stevens? As for the game at hand. Stevens said this game meant more for some of his players who were coach by Doc. This was just another game that Brad Stevens wanted to win.

This team win or lose plays hard every single night. That was the case against the Brooklyn Nets Tuesday night, when the Celtics couldn't overcome the Nets in Brooklyn. The Celtics took care of the ball with just 9 turnovers, and they knocked down the three ball, eleven of them to be exact for over 50% from beyond the arc. The problem was that the Celtics couldn't contain the duo of...Read Full Post »

A morning full of people lost in their lives perhaps waking up to an alarm that rests on their night stand. All of us wake with a clear mind, or until the morning coffee kicks in, and then were left with regret or love, and maybe just a touch of stress heading into work or waking up the kids to get them ready for school....Read Full Post »

Being over confident, isn't in our best interest, as of now the Celtics are in the playoff picture, and their the Atlantic Division front runner with the lead so far this year over 20 games in. Instead of wasting time talking about getting better. The Celtics actually put all of their available energy, into doing something productive. Whatever you have in mind when it co...Read Full Post »

The Celtics have a record of 5-2 in their last 7 games after losing 6 in a row. Despite the recent success by the Celtics Brad Stevens hasn't been satisfied with the wins 100%. The Celtics have had some let downs, and lets face it who really puts up a perfect 48 minutes? If you did the other team wouldn't score the ball. Your going to have lapses, and your going to have breakdowns o...Read Full Post »

Kris Humphries is best known for his off the court past, and I for one didn't give the guy a chance. But after seeing him in action for the past months he's become one of the guys that I cheer for. With Jared Sullinger dealing with foul trouble, Humphries had hustled his way to 18 points and seven rebounds in Boston's 106-98 win. Hump saved the Celtics in the third quarter more...Read Full Post »
Celtics Morning Joe: Ainge will judge this season by the development of his players much more than wins and losses

Ainge said he believes this team can play better, and of course they can, and when Rondo returns this offense will make more sense. The offense makes sense now, but an offense thats built for Rondo has been strong in Boston's 8 wins this season but when your missing the centerpiece of the offense things won't even be close to perfect.

If you look at the records 5-13, and 8-12 you would have said the Celtics would be 5-13 and the Nets would be 8-12. Even the 8-12 record would be off when thinking of the Nets record before the season started. Both teams went into the big trade with many risks at hand. Sometimes, the risks we take are colossal in life.Read Full Post »

Sullinger had a strong performance Tuesday night with 12 points and 8 boards to go along with a clutch jumper with the shot clock expiring. The Celtics wrapped up their season series against the Bucks with a 108-100 win. The Bucks bested the Celtics twice this season before Tuesday's game, and the Celtics made sure the Bucks wouldn't sweep the season series.

Nobody expected the Knicks or Nets to start off so bad this season. The season is young and you can't count out the two teams from New York. Many critics expected Philly to have the worst record in the NBA this past season. I think many thought the 76ers would win just 14 games this season, and their about half way there with 6 wins. The Raptors lead the Atla...Read Full Post »
Celtics Morning Joe: Rondo already preparing for his career after he's done playing, being a head coach

Rondo has been there since the opening tip this season. Where is there you may say. There is the bench right next to Brad Stevens. Rondo is already a floor general with a great feel for the game, and so many other point guards have done well in the NBA as coaches and many great players in general have done well.

The Celtics went into Satuday's game as the best team guarding the three-point line. The Celtics allow a little over 5 three's per game, and the Bucks nailed 8. If you take away at least three of those the Celtics would have won the game. The young Celtics have been consistent all year guarding the three-point line so I'm not worried about this games lack of focus.Read Full Post »

Jordan Crawford has been one of the top stories this season. What's the Celtics record with Crawford as a starter? The Celtics are 7-7 with Crawford as the starting point guard. The Celtics started the season 0-4 and Stevens made the switch. Since then Jordan has changed how we think of him. He's not a guy jacking up a thousand three's, even though he still jacks up some questionabl...Read Full Post »

Out of the 6 wins this season the Celtics only have 2 wins at home this season. The Garden has been rocking and full all season long. If you look at the teams that the Celtics faced then the losses don't mean much. The Celtics dropped one to the best team in the East in the Pacers. The Celtics also dropped one to the Blazers who are 13-3 on the season.
