Question of the day: Would Ray leave Miami to play for Doc?

Posted on June 25, 2013 at 5:30 AM Comments comments (3)

Dang, I realized right now. I may need to change the photo soon on my Question of the day posts. I need to do more of these also. So here's the question guys. Would the Clippers pursue Ray Allen like they have in the past to pair him with Doc? With Doc reportedly able to sign guys would he go after Ray? Wouldn't thi...

Question of the day: What's next for Lee?

Posted on April 30, 2013 at 6:30 AM Comments comments (6)

With Lee's recent benching in Boston. What will become of him moving forward. He's signed on in Boston for three more seasons after seasons end. He's making a solid 5 million per season. I'm not sure what really happened with Lee. Courtney has only played 3 out of 4 games, plus just 11 minutes per game. He's putting up an average of 2.0 points in this series.

Question of the day: Should the Celtics sit KG and Paul in the final two games?

Posted on April 14, 2013 at 6:20 AM Comments comments (4)

The Celtics secured the 7th seed when they destroyed the Magic 120-88. KG and Pierce were great in limited time. The Celtics have nothing to play for when it comes to playoff seeding. But they need to build chemistry. I personally believe that KG and Pierce rested enough, but I also think they should sit out the Toronto game in...

Question of the day: Should Jeff Green start over Bass?

Posted on February 23, 2013 at 7:00 AM Comments comments (4)

Brandon Bass is an undersized power forward. Jeff Green is technically an inch taller than Bass, but I suppose Bass has Green in the weight department. But when it comes down to a few factors. I think Doc should test out Green in the starting unit. First of all with two new guys on the Celtics roster. The C's have plenty of fire power off the bench. Williams, and Jordan can score the ...

Question of the day: Should the Celtics look into West if Barbosa is done?

Posted on February 12, 2013 at 2:35 PM Comments comments (3)

I hate the fact that we even have to start this discussion. For me Barbosa is better than Delonte West. At least now in their respected careers. Barbosa is an instant scorer, and his defense has proven to be better than advertised. As for West he continues to battle with depression, and other mental illnesses. I lost respect for him when he was crying about a job when the NBA was going through th...

Question of the day: Should Doc sit KG, and Pierce against Bobcats?

Posted on February 11, 2013 at 5:15 AM Comments comments (5)

Celtics captain Paul Pierce played 54 minutes, 11 seconds during Sunday's triple-overtime win  over the Nuggets. That's just three seconds short of his career high . Kevin Garnett logged 47:03, and that's a number that we never see from KG. With the Celtics heading to Charlotte for a second game of a back-to-back. Should Doc roll the dice, and rest both players? The Bobcats shouldn't be take...

Question of the day: What do you make of Rondo getting a second opinion?

Posted on February 1, 2013 at 2:45 PM Comments comments (2)

“He (Dr. Andrews) is one that we’re definitely considering,” Rondo’s agent Bill Duffy, told CSNNE.com. “If he’s No. 1, there’s a couple 1As and 1Bs we’re looking at as well.”

Duffy said the second opinion on Rondo’s knee will not be made...

Question of the day: Do the Celtics miss Ray Allen?

Posted on January 24, 2013 at 6:35 AM Comments comments (3)

The question has surfaced, and it doesn't surprise me that it has. The Celtics are 20-21, and the chemistry is off.  Here are some quotes from some guys who know a thing or two about the Celtics.

Question of the day: Should Pierce come off the bench?

Posted on January 23, 2013 at 7:00 AM Comments comments (4)

The Celtics have been down this road before. Last season Bradley came in, and took Ray's job. It's what the Celtics needed, and it was the best thing for the Celtics. We know how that worked for the Celtics. Ray was bitter, and he went to Miami. This season Pierce has slowly gotten worse. The only difference about swapping Green for Pierce like last season's Bradley for Ray? Gree...

Question of the day: Will the Lakers make the playoffs?

Posted on January 22, 2013 at 6:05 AM Comments comments (4)

With the Celtics under performing these days. I find it hard to brag about the Celtics playing better than the Lakers. But despite the Celtics being 20-20 at the 8th seed in the East. The Lakers are 17-24 at number 12 in the West. The Lakers have lost three in a row again, and they're lucky the Rockets, and Blazers have been playing very poor....

Question of the day: Should the season start on Christmas day?

I actually agree with Doc on this. I like the idea of having the season start on Christmas day. Hers is what Doc had to say about it.

Question of the day: Should Terry start?

Posted on December 21, 2012 at 11:15 AM Comments comments (2)

Terry has been in, and out of the starting lineup. Terry has been good this season. So it's not because of his play. The biggest reason for all the changes has been because of Doc playing with the lineup. Terry, who hasn't been given  any real chance to settle into his role here in Boston while starting 17 of 25 games. He rece...

Question of the day: Should Rondo miss some time?

Posted on November 29, 2012 at 8:30 AM Comments comments (11)

First of all this wasn't a cowardly type of move that Artest has been known for. This isn't Artest worthy what so ever. When league office  reviews the  tape of the incident, it will be interesting to see if they believe or determine that Rondo (or Garnett or Wallace) threw any punches during the altercation.

Question of the day: Who's been the best player off the bench?

Posted on November 27, 2012 at 12:20 PM Comments comments (4)

It's been awhile since I've done a question of the day. But I thought this was a solid "Question of the day".

The Celtics bench is a strong force these days. And were still waiting for Bradley to return. So either him, or Terry will be coming off the bench. But lets l...

Question of the day: Can KG help turnaround Darko's career?

Posted on October 4, 2012 at 12:15 PM Comments comments (3)

"I tell him every day, 'You're no longer Darko. You're a Celtic,' Boston coach Doc Rivers said. "And one day, we asked him what his name was and he said, 'Celtic.' And everyone just started laughing. All I'm trying to do is get him to forget about trying to be something he isn't -- and just be someone ...

Question of the day: Should we be concerned with Bradley yet?

Posted on September 25, 2012 at 7:00 AM Comments comments (4)

The Celtics, and injuries scare the crap out of me. Their never up front with injuries, and time frames can be  laughable. Last season they seemed to get a little better when talking about injuries. Now we face Avery Bradley's injury. Bradley endured two shoulder surgeries this off season. We knew that December was the time frame for Avery's return. But w...

Question of the day: Fisher a Celtic?

Posted on September 24, 2012 at 8:00 AM Comments comments (6)

I close my eyes, and  I let the darkness suck me in. I offer my heart to let myself die. The sweet ellipsis of life. I'd rather bite my nails to the bone. I'd rather fall out of plane to my death. Well maybe not that far. But the thought of Fisher putting on the Celtics green, and white makes me want to get out of my chair, and walk into on coming traffic...

Question of the day: MP for the $1.95 million biannual exception?

Posted on September 3, 2012 at 7:30 AM Comments comments (6)

Pietrus was a fan favorite last season. He came in when the Celtics needed someone to take over for Jeff Green. MP played that role the best he could. He suffered a pretty big concussion against the Sixers in the regular season, and he finally came back to form in the playoffs. He never fully recovered it seemed from that fall, but he was stil...
