I don't know if Dirk will look back at this game, and wonder what if. I think Dirk could look back at this game more then the series from 2006,and wonder only if we got that game. The Mavs stole home court, but as soon as they stole it the Heat took it back, and if the Mavs want to win this series they will have to go back to south beach, and before that. They must win the next two games in Dallas. The Mavericks seemed to always climb out of a 10 point hole, and fight back with a run. Mario Chalmers hit a three when the first quarter clock struck 0:00. When you look at the replay it appeared that Mario was in the back court, and the shot should have been a violation.
Dirk was working on one of the best games in finals history. I think this game will go down as one of the best, but to bad the Mavs couldn't hold on.
Miami was up 81-74 with 6:31 left, but Dirk Nowitzki scored 12 straight points to tie it for Dallas. Yet he couldn't finish the comeback, throwing a pass out of bounds and missing a tough jumper over Udonis Haslem as time expired.
Bosh hit the game winner with around 39 seconds to go in the game. Bosh made a few clutch shots, and without the baskets the Heat don't win the game.
The Game 3 winner in a tied finals has won the championship all 11 times since the 2-3-2 format began in 1985.I'm not sure if I'm likeing the Mavs chances. I do think the Mavs can break the 11 time streak, but it will be a must for the Mavs to win the next two. The tough loss at home in a close game could be the dagger for the Heat.
This game was all Wade for the Heat. James had an okay game, but he didn't put his stamp on this game. Wade finished with 29 points.
The Mavs had a bunch of good looks from behind the tree point line. They shot 8-21 from behind the line, but J.J Barea couldn't hit a three after a few good looks. He hits one of them, and this game is a different story.
The Mavs had too many costly turnovers. The Heat killed the Mavs in the paint scoring 40 points. I'm hoping the Mavs can bounce back. The Celtics from last year went back to LA with a 3-2 lead, and hopefully the Mavs can do the same, and I hope they can finish the job on the road.
