During the Heat game, courtside reporter Abby Chin said that Rondo was vocal, intense, and itching to get out there with his team against the Heat. Rondo is proving to be the anti Rose, he doesn't want to miss the entire season. But at the same time. I want Rondo to take his time. With the current win streak. You know that Rondo feels that he can lead this team into the playoffs.

"He played three-on-three three weeks ago when he wasn’t supposed to,” president of basketball operations Danny Ainge told the Herald. “But I asked (the training staff) if it was OK for him to be playing one-on-one, and the answer was yes. Of course playing one-on-one is one thing. It doesn’t mean he’s ready to play to the NBA standard.”

Rondo still needs clearance from Dr. James Andrews for increased activity and could schedule a meeting in Florida with the renowned surgeon soon, according to the Herald. The guard told the Herald's Mark Murphy, "The (Celtics) travel schedule is too crazy this week."
