Celtics Blog Post New Entry

KG could return this Sunday

"I think he'll be back, maybe as early as Sunday, but I don't know yet," Rivers said. "He's not going to do anything (Thursday). He's doing all the running and stuff in (the weight room) and he'll do some court stuff without the team. And he'll probably participate in the shootaround (Friday), but I'm not going to play him (Friday), even if he wants to play."

I think most fans accepted that the Celtics rested KG, and that we lost 4 out of seven games in that span. It was worth it, and now with KG's return here sooner then later. KG needs to get those reps in before the playoffs start. With the emergence of Green, and he'll start once KG returns. A few questions, or areas of concern seems to be the rotation with KG, and what will it be in the playoffs. Bass has found his groove, but will that last when Kevin returns, and with  Jeff Green starting  will that hurt Bass? Will Doc start Bass with Green and KG? I guess will have to stay tuned for all the lineup changes.

I still think kg and green could use a couple of games playing minutes alongside each other.

Its a must. This realtionship is kind of like Pierce and Rondo becoming a force.Sometimes Rondo and Pierce rarely had great games together.
