The Celtics move back to 7th with the Hawks, and Bulls winning. With a Pacers lost tonight. The Celtics are only 4 1/2 games back of the second seed. Very unlikely, but mathematically still in the race. The Celtics have a better chance at catching the Knicks because of their injury woes.

Melo to rejoin Knicks in L.A.

"Carmelo Anthony, who had a soft tissue fluid collection removed from the back of his right knee on Thursday, is expected to rejoin the New York Knicks in Los Angeles in preparation for their game against the Clippers on Sunday, according to the Knicks."

Josh Smith returns for Hawks

"Josh Smith is back in Atlanta's lineup against the Phoenix Suns after missing one game with a sprained left knee, but point guard Jeff Teague will miss his second straight start.Teague, who has a sprained left ankle, was in the first version of the Hawks' starting lineup on Friday night. He was pulled early in pregame warmups. Devin Harris is the fill-in starter at point guard.

Teague is in uniform and is expected to be available off the bench.

Smith and Teague were injured Tuesday night in a loss at Miami."
