Paul Pierce had 15 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists while passing Charles Barkely for 20th all-time in scoring, and he also passed Iverson for 10th all-time for made free throws. Doc should have tried this last night. Paul only played 24 minutes, and KG 20 minutes. They should have tried to rip the soul out of the Bobcats, and rest the guys late in the game, oh well it's time to move on from that. Kevin Garnett (12 points, 7 rebounds) enjoyed a milestone-filled night passing Jerry West for 15th all-time in scoring.
The bench has a big three, and they brought it tonight. Jeff Green scored a team-high 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting to go along with six rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block, while Jason Terry (12 points, 7 assists) and Jordan Crawford (12 points, 3 assists). The Celtics won this game with a second half surge. The first half had the Celtics losing two double-digit leads. In the third the Celtics put on the glass, and they won the game 112-88, avenging last nights 26 point loss to Charlotte.
