Question of the day: Will the Lakers make the playoffs?

With the Celtics under performing these days. I find it hard to brag about the Celtics playing better than the Lakers. But despite the Celtics being 20-20 at the 8th seed in the East. The Lakers are 17-24 at number 12 in the West. The Lakers have lost three in a row again, and they're lucky the Rockets, and Blazers have been playing very poor. The Blazers at the 9th seed have lost 6 in a row with a 20-21 record. The Rockets are the 8th seed at 21-20. They've lost 3 of there 7 games. The Lakers could have been more than 4 games behind from the playoffs.
I picked the Clippers coming out of the West before the season started. I didn't buy into the hype of the Lakers, but I didn't believe for one minute that the Lakers would struggle for a playoff spot. Do you think the Lakers grab the 8th seed, or even make the playoffs?
