KG lets the new guys know what's up

The Celtics looked lost, and they looked disengaged Friday night in their home opening loss to the Bucks. KG got the most shots up Friday. Kevin was 6-of-14 for 15 points, and it wasn't spectacular, but he was aggressive. I'll take an aggressive KG over a timid KG any day. Kevin was very active on the defensive end with two blocks, and a near block that was called a goal tending violation. KG preaches the Celtic way, and he lives by the Celtic code of ethics.

"Hyenas. Running in packs means that we help each other," he said. "Since I’ve been here, we’ve built the code on what these great organizations have been built on -- and that’s history. And that’s gained not by individual, but by team. And I just spoke upon that with everybody in here, without the coaches and everybody.

Just letting all the new guys know what it is to be a [Celtic], reiterating that and letting them understand the severity of putting this jersey on and everything that comes with it. I won’t go into that -- it’s none of y’all business -- but I had to reiterate it tonight. I thought tonight was the perfect night to do that."

The Celtics can play better, and KG knows in, and we know it. Why have the Celtics started the season flat? Honestly, does anyone know? The defense of course is the first point of action, but it's not the only issue. If the Celtics play like this Saturday night I will be shocked. I think KG addressed the team, and I hope Rondo put in his two sense. Because Rondo was needed Friday night, but he was playing lackluster ball. KG's a smart guy, and player so he knows this isn't the end of the world. It's no ideal by any means, but it what it is, and the C's need to regroup in a pack like mentality.

Rondo stepped up after the game and pointed the finger straight at himself. But he's got to make a change on the court tomorrow

Very true, he did that, and that's a good leader!

KG needs to shut his mouth and just get to work. This team knows how to talk like Doc.
