Jared Sullinger scored a team-high 24 points on 7-of-14 shooting to go along with 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Jared had a huge 4th quarter in which he scored 17 points in the final quarter. Sullingers big quarter helped the Celtics prevail against a Sota team right there in the thick of things. The Celtics won 101-98, and improve to 12-10 on the season.
Avery Bradley added 19 points on 9-of-17 shooting. Green had one of his rough nights with just 8 points, to his credit he wasn't getting the calls, like the rest of his team. The Celtics caught up in the free throw race because of the 8 freebies in the final minute of the game. The Wolves still had 26 free throw attempts to Boston's 23.
Jeff Green did have a key stop when he came from behind to nearly block Nikola Pekovic's point-blank dunk in the game's closing seconds, Green was able to alter his shot by the block attempt.
The Celtics lost 106-88 at Minnesota on Nov. 16, and the Celtics wanted to right one of the few wrongs this season. They did it by fighting off Kevin Love and the Wolves in the Garden. Stay tuned for postgame interviews and more.
