The Celtics are not big enough to win

The Celtics were out rebounded 49-34 against the Lakers. Brandon Bass played 29 minutes, and he grabbed just 2 rebounds. Just awful, and that's not the first time, and it won't be the last. I really wish I could like Bass, and I feel for him, because he shouldn't be starting, and he's not a starting power forward in the NBA, or he shouldn't be. The Celtics lost the glass(45-39) in Denver by just 6, but it cost them the game down the stretch. Jeff Van Gundy pointed out all night how small the Celtics are. Even when the Celtics had Sully. I felt like a move had to be made to get size. Bass had to be the guy, but who would want him, and who could we get?

The focus has been on guards, and  I understand why. But the Celtics really never replaced Darko from November when he parted ways from the team. The Celtics have been a small ball team, and it seems by choice. They've lacked focus on bigs, and I honestly wish to see KG at power forward. But it won't be an option. The likely reality that Danny pulls off a deal? Everyone says no deal for the Celtics. I guess will see. Because I hope for a Bass move. Sorry Bass.

Like I've said in the past. Green can do what Bass does, and better.
