Pierce looking to bounce back in LA

Posted by shawn cassidy on February 20, 2013 at 6:00 AM

Nothing like home cooking. Especially after a long plane ride across America. But  for Paul Pierce going to LA may come at the right time. He was an awful 2-of-14 from the field in Tuesday's loss to Denver. Is it his strength or just his torment? Going home for Pierce has been great in the pass, and after a night when Pierce looked like a player playing a 48 minute game, or even a 57 minute game. He looked out of it, and dead tired at the same time. He could that be after Pierce had the past 5-6 days off after playing over 6 days ago.

No station open. Everyone’s asleep on a night where every star talks to your inner thoughts. Sometimes seeing familiar faces helps, and maybe seeing family helps your spirits. After watching Pierce play in Denver. It's obvious that the Celtics may not get stellar games out of him every night, and that's unfair to ask. Every player has a game when nothing seems to go right, it's just like a bad day for you  and I.  Jeff Green, and others stepped up for the sluggish Pierce, but even if we got a little more out of Pierce against Denver. He forced it too much, and it was costly for the Celtics. For the first time in a long time. The Celtics played Paul Pierce in isolation plays that we haven't seen for some time. It back fired for the Celtics, and it's something that has been anti Celtics basketball as of late.

Paul Pierce will await another trade deadline with his name in his some rumors. I truly doubt that effects him. I'm sure in his gut he knows that Danny is not dealing him.  Despite the woes Pierce should remain a Celtic without a doubt. Yes, I'm talking to the overboard fans who freak out over every loss. I want to give Paul the benefit of the doubt after his poor performance against Denver. Maybe the altitude played a part into it, and maybe Pierce was looking ahead to Wednesday nights game in LA. At the end of the day. Pierce has this team on his back, but much like Rondo's homework while he's gone. Pierce's home workd needs to  be making others better if he has no shot.

If Paul has shown us anything during his long career. He loves to bounce back in big games, and despite where both teams are. This is a big game.

It's Rondo's fault we lost a game.

Yeah, i was being sarcastic! Lol! I agree with you, Franklin - Denver really hurts us without Rondo. Funny though how no one other than Levine wants to talk about Bradley being torched, now TWICE, by Lawson...
