The odds are stacked up like a wall of bricks being constructed. I like what Danny says these days more than anytime in recent memory. He's praised, and backed up the teams better without Rondo bull. But he's not letting two season ending injuries crush his hopes this season. The Celtics have three weeks to see what they have, and to see what they want to do. I want big men, and I have one player on my list that I would like to be shipped out. Bass is they guy.
I don't ask for trades often, and I post about the ESPN trade machine. But I feel like the Celtics have a guy in Jeff Green who brings what Bass brings, but in better ways. The Celtics are undersized as it is, and Bass isn't reliable.Plus he's become a cry baby, and he's pointing the finger at the wrong person.
"We're not ready to cave in yet, are you kidding? It's going to take more than that," Ainge said just before Friday's game with the Magic at TD Garden. "We'll just have to win in a different way. Jared's our best rebounder. We don't have to
play that way. Last two games, we played without Jared last game and I think our team looked great. The second half and most of the Miami game, we played smaller ball and were able to win. Against New York, they're a small-ball team, we played small against them, had a win against them in New York. "I think we're going to have to win in a different way without Jared and without Rajon. We'll see what we have."
