Celtics Blog Post New Entry

Question of the day: What do you make of Rondo getting a second opinion?

Posted by shawn cassidy on February 1, 2013 at 2:45 PM

“He (Dr. Andrews) is one that we’re definitely considering,” Rondo’s agent Bill Duffy, told CSNNE.com. “If he’s No. 1, there’s a couple 1As and 1Bs we’re looking at as well.”

Duffy said the second opinion on Rondo’s knee will not be made for at least another four or five days in order to allow the swelling to go down….

In addition, Duffy said they are in the process of setting up meetings with other athletes who have had similar injuries. Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is among those that Rondo’s camp hopes to speak with very soon.

Rondo wants to get back as soon as possible. You know he's dieing inside right now. It seems that he's not accepting the fact that his season is gone. It would be wise of Rondo to wait until he's fully healed.

Adrian Peterson, bounced back from an ACL after he came back in 9 months and rushed for 2,097 yards. I hope Rondo comes back as strong. I think I worry more about Rondo's career at this point than the Celtics season. He's the future, and the franchise player.

I'm really worried too about Rondo's career.
And I can't totally understand that he can't accept his season is over.
As I just wrote in another post, I hope he'll be back strong.
This injury can really do a lot of damage, but he can't take away Rondo's unmatched court vision and ability to create things out of nothing!!
I hope too have more informations soon!!
My prayers are all for him

I think it's typical Rondo. He doesn't just bow to what he is told. He wants to know as much as he can about the situation.
