KG the master of words

It is said that a four leafed clover brings good luck to those that find one. KG changed the luck of the Celtics over five years ago. He brought a championship to Boston, and he's built an insane resume of terror in Boston. Melo has become the latest victim.
KG is the lion looking with such a look that calls out his opponents deepest fears. And with their courage that he takes with words that bang through their heads. The bravado leaves the opponents.
“I’m not surprised that it bothers people, because guys don’t like it,” Rivers said. “Some guys don’t, some do, some guys respond. Everyone has to have the last word now, maybe. But that should never carry over.”
Nobody seems to get into the mind of KG. Kevin is the one getting inside. KG goes after their weaknesses. It's an art of his, and Rondo has his art, and KG has his.
“He’s just a good player, a good defensive player,” Rivers said of the Garnett effect not only on Anthony, but countless others. “He’s not going to back down, he’s not going to go anywhere. They know it and it bothers them. Kevin’s Kevin, and when you watch that tape Kevin did nothing wrong. He was into the game. He just played hard, he was defiant. He’s stubborn on defense, didn’t give you anything easy, and that’s how you’re supposed to play defense. Sometimes it bothers you.”
Don't make a mistake about it. KG doesn't go out there to fight. He's doing it to win, and hes doing it to be his best. He means no real harm, but he wants to have an edge against his opponents. And it's built inside KG like a computer chip.
“Everybody talks,” Rivers said. “Everybody talks. I think that talking stuff is so overblown. Watch the game, and look at who’s doing more talking. All Kevin did was say something back. Talking is so overblown to me. Talking started, hell, before I was even playing. Larry Bird was one of the biggest trash talkers in the league.”
“I’m not going to get into that part,” he said. “That’s New York’s thing. I’m not going to get into that. I don’t pile on, and I’m not going to. I just went to security, and then I got on the bus.”
Bird was a different type of trash talking player. Bird would tell you where, and when he would hit the game winner over you. KG barks on the defensive end. Melo has become the latest victim, but he won't be the last.

Can't say I admired KG's punch to Hansborough, though
Yes he was kicked out for that, but that was clearly an acident. The league would have suspened him if it was a real punch.
