NBA.com – David Aldridge-Most teams will shy away from giving '09 picks a big payday
"If you’re in Boston, you can buy into Jeff Green, who’s been one of the Celtics’ best — maybe the best — players in camp, showing no ill effects from his heart surgery last year. Green struggled to pick up the Celtics’ defense when he first came over from Oklahoma City in 2010, but he’s dramatically improved so far. He, along with Rajon Rondo, is playing with “great pace, force and focus,” according to an approving Beantownian.
There is a rumbling around the league, from people I respect, that the Celtics could be really, really good this season."
Could be really good this season? Come one of course they'll be good. They'll be right there with Miami in the end right. The Pacers are good, but not title good. The Bulls are good as done with Rose shutdown for the foreseeable future. The old Knicks better than the Celtics, or even the Nets who haven't made the playoffs for five years better than the Celtics? No way, the road for the East Finals again will be Miami, and Boston.
