Pierce should have sat out

Due to some site issues, as you guys know. I would have posted about this hours ago, but here we go.
You can question Paul about a lot of things, but his heart, and want to win you can not. As Doc put it about Paul.
“He’ll be fine,” Doc said. ”With his injury, he had to rest it. He should not have been playing, to be healthy. The only way to be healthy is rest. So, he’ll be fine.”
I think you can add Paul being healthy this season, as a reason the Celtics will still contend for the Eastern Conference crown. The Celtics came within a game of the Finals, but if you add a healthy Pierce with a healthy Bradley, and Green, and Wilcox the Celtics may have won. Maybe without Ray, Pierce becomes a much better scorer this season. Instead of another demanding scorer like Ray. The Celtics can focus on more team ball around their stars.
Paul wanted to win banner 18,and his second title. The good news is this. He'll get another crack at it this season.

I think the offense could be a strong one next year, reversing the trend of recent years.
I think many of us are over Ray. We know others can fill the void, and the new Big three can relax.
