Celtics Blog Post New Entry

Rondo's flawed, but great

Posted by shawn cassidy on May 7, 2012 at 3:50 AM

What an extraordinary journey. Rondo's extraordinary life, grows from the heart of forgiveness. Because some believe we need to forgive him. And I say for what? Rondo  blooms into a generous gift that leaves us mesmerized every night.  Rondo's NBA life started from  humble beginnings. He wasn't a top five draft pick,  he was picked 21st in the first round. If you look at the draft class of 2006. Rondo is clearly the best player in the top 25. If Brandon Roy  was still suiting  up in the NBA  I would say he was the best in that draft class, but as you see even in this seasons playoffs. Injuries are terrible, and  a shame. LaMarcus Aldridge, and Rudy Gay were also picked before Rondo. But those two guys lack what Rondo has. That's my opinion.

Progressed realization revolutionizes Rondo into a new  pure talent. Awakening the blinded minds that sit at home hating, and spinning. Rondo's game should be spreading love unmeasured by what he is. But that is  not the case. Rondo directs a path to an extraordinary life for his teammates on the court. He makes everyone around him so  much better, and you just can't teach that. It doesn't show up on a box score. Rondo has become the Celtics leader, and It's screamed from the mountain top. Rondo isn't a vocal leader like KG, and even like Pierce. Rondo leads by example, and he leads by directing. Don't get me wrong, Rondo is very vocal. But it's not the highest action in Rondo's leadership tool box.

There is so much hate for Rondo's game sometimes,  and not enough joy, to balance all things out. Rondo's jumper has reached great  heights this season, and even  his decision making. But fans seem to harp on the same stuff. Rondo has bounced back from his one game suspension. The Celtics fans call Rondo Jekyll and Hyde, but they  go from losing  the Hawks series, to beating the Heat in a weeks time. They use up Rondo, and toss him in the trash like a used tissue.

Rondo's  inner desire is to be free from the continuing burden that the  critics have  put on him. Rondo wishes to be liberated from the snares of  the critics  grips, and  to be forever emancipated. Truly, I'm captivated by the Light of Rajon that shines eternally. He's our rebel, and our great hope. Not everyone get's that. Rondo is flawed, but he's good enough to cover up any flaws.

I love you with your weaknesses Rondo. I've learned that I have mine as a person, and  I know your just fine with yours. We all learn to deal with change, and Rondo changes when asked. It just takes a little time. So be patient with the results. And I'll be patient too.

The critics point out all  of his flaws. Every word pushing, and pushing until the edge is reached. Rondo  breaks after the fall. Seeing that you cannot accept what he is, but you need to try . You want the player that you dreamed of. The one who can be everything that Rondo's not. But stop, and look because you'll  miss something great.

I believe Rondo had his best game in-game four. Rondo had 16 assists with only 1 turnover. Come on, that's insane. How about his jumper? Outstanding. Reggie Miller was saying how good his form is, even though Reggie had more negative to say about it, but Reggie saw great potential. Rondo eneded Sunday night shooting 8-of-11 for the game for 20 points.

Rondo walks in silence, holding his bag, enjoying the moment. Moments like these will be captured as memories that carry on. Memories that we will look back on one day, and never let go of. They will bring a warm glow to our soul, and if your Rondo. A proud moment to cherish.

Another beautiful piece.
"But stop, and look because your miss something great"

You're so right!! I'm really honored that I can be a witness of Rondo growth, that I can see him shine and directing his life is such a wonderful way.
Some people are really missing something unique.

People are addicted to numerical, additive thinking. They are like tourists who stick a camera in front of everything. These are forms of dissociation.
