"IN RONDO WE TRUST"

Celtics Blog Post New Entry

Garnett "He's the black lion"

That is an awesome  nickname for Rondo. Let's see it stick. One thing about the veterans on this team? They love to comeback, and they love to feel the pressure. Sometimes they wilt under pressure. But more times than not. They reach their goal. You can take the good from last night, and build off of that. But the Celtics as a team may face their ultimate test. Win a playoff game on the road without Rondo.

"Doc’s system, man, Doc’s system is predicated towards hard work and playing hard," said Garnett. "You want certain personnel in certain positions, but this team is built to where you move pieces and you put pieces into the structure to where it runs continually like a wheel. Rondo, obviously, he’s the head that forms Voltron; He’s the black lion. Obviously, you have other pieces you can put in there, manipulate and keep things going, so we’re going to continue to be who we are and right now that's just being better for Game 2."

The C's are also without Ray. But the duo of KG, and Pierce know what's on the line. They get it. We know KG will be ready to go, and perhaps calm. Pierce will want to take this game over, much like he did when Rondo sat out towards the end of the year. I still fear what could happen without Rondo, but for one game. I like the Celtics chances.

If its 2 games the nba is ruining the series 1 game is enough.

If it's two games we are in trouble. And I fear it will be that because the NBA is so corrupt. They don't mind a player almost killing another player, but barely touching a ref, now that's the death penalty.

If it's one game, we'll win it and be back in business.
