Pierce player of the week, thank you Rondo!
|
|

Paul Pierce has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
Pierce averaged a solid 25 points, 8 boards, and 2.5 dishes while guiding Boston to a four-win week topping Charlotte, Utah, Minnesota, and Miami! Pierce scored a season-high 36 points while adding 10 rebounds in a 102-95 battle over the Bobcats, then excelled his week with a team-high 23 points in a 91-72 beat down over the Heat.
Pierce won player of the week once this season, and I think a proper thank you to Rondo is in order.

Sounds fair to me Celticslifer.
Everyone acts like poor put upon Pierce isn't getting enough credit. Really? When does the guy NOT get credit? Has Rondo been player of the week even once?

I just watched some videos on csnne.com and everyone saying of course rondo only played good on the tv game my question is, have they not watched the season or even the last 13 games/ second half of the season and it kinda made me mad hes been playing fantastic basketball as far running the team. I really think people expect him to go for a triple double every game.

I think he's proven Calipari right. I think he's had a tremendous season, and if he keeps getting better, lookout NBA
