Doc after the game
The offense needs to be changed. Every team we play knows exactly what we run. Yes the Celtics force a lot of their passes, but the defense knows the next pass, and they get the Celtics to turn the ball over. Is this the bottom for the Celtics like a junkie on the street corner, or a 900 pound man stuck inside his bed? Something needs to change, and it's starting to get real. What worked in 2008 worked then. What worked in 2010 worked then. Now we have a new bench, and we have aged super stars. We have an all-star point guard who can do everything. All I hear is that this is Rondo's team. Actions speak louder than words. This isn't Rondo's team. It's Paul's team.
Last night I could see a change, but it wasn't enough. The team still tried to get KG, and Pierce going too much. Rondo did miss some easy baskets, but it wasn't the reason the Celtics lost. A change in the offensive strategy must come, or the Celtics will continue to fall.
