Question of the day: Are T-Mac and Iverson First Ballot Hall of Famers?

Posted by shawn cassidy on August 27, 2013 at 6:00 AM

As all of you know by now. Iverson announced he's done with the NBA, and a few day's later Tracy Mcgrady has done the same. Iverson has a few scoring titles, and a MVP award to his name, and All-Star MVP honors.Iverson also reached the 2001 NBA Finals.I would say that's enough For Allen. As for T-Mac he won a few scoring titles like Iverson. He was an All-Star year after year. Tracy was known for being outed in the first round every season with the Magic and Rockets. I would say that both should enter the Hall of Fame in the same season.

Allen Iverson, an 11-time All-Star who has not played in the NBA since 2010, is prepared to officially announce his retirement in the coming days, SlamOnline.com reports.

According to the report, the 38-year-old Iverson has come to terms with the fact that his playing career is finished. He has not played professionally since 2011 in Turkey.

Leaving open the door to play overseas, seven-time All-Star Tracy McGrady retired from the NBA on Monday.

"It's been 16 years playing the game I love. I've had a great run, but it's time for it to come to an end," McGrady said on ESPN's "First Take."

McGrady averaged 19.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game in a career that started in 1997, when he was drafted out of high school.

Yeah, especially Iverson who I think was one of the great NBA gamechangers, heralding the point guard era.

I would say both are,but Iverson has to be the one in first. He was a unique player at his height and weight.
