The Celtics remained within distance for most of the first half, but things took a turn for the worse after the half. A 10-0 run by Oklahoma City midway through the third quarter opened up a 21-point lead for the hosts. The Celtics kept fighting but couldn't get closer than 14 points the rest of the way.The Celtics couln't keep up with one of the best teams in the game, and I expected a loss on the Thunders court. The Celtics lost 119-96.

Jeff Green and Avery Bradley finished with 19 apiece.

Lee's departure hurt the Celtics a bit, but it wasn't the reason for the loss. The Celtics will have 4 more on the road, and It won't get any easier. Sullinger fouled out in 19 minutes of action, for 9 points and 8 rebounds. Humphries was solid with 14 points off the bench. The Celtics are fighting, and the lack of something is getting in the way. Brad's coaching this team well, and the players are fighting, but the lack of Rondo continues to hold this team back.
