There were a number of stretches that ultimately factored into Boston's downfall against the Wizards. The third quarter was brought up a lot by the Celtics after the game, but one player felt like he was the blame. Jeff was asked if he could single something out down the stretch that may have cost the Celtics, and he simply said, "me" and then Green explained why, with more detail.
Jeff finished with 13 points, and he was an awful 0-of-6 from three. Green is who he is, and with the emergence of Sullinger. The Celtics have their go-to guy in Sullinger. Green will have his breakout games here and there, but don't expect consistency from Green. After Green's 29 point performance against the Clippers. Green has posted back-to-back 8 point games, and in the last two games Green has posted back-to-back 13 point games.
Green is 27, and he's not changing anytime soon. Green is a solid role player, and I've excepted the fact that he's inconsistent.
