Green with another blah game. The one play that stands out from the Orlando game was his tip-in in the 4th to help give the Celtics a 84-80 lead. Other then that, Green was apart of the background. I'm pretty much okay with Green. I'm not going to put a label on the guy. With Brad Stevens using a lot of different guys, and combos on the court. This offense is just balanced.
Stevens doesn't run a lot of isolation, like Doc would do. The biggest thing for Green is his overall offensive approach. Green had 4 dimes against Orlando, and he only averages a little over 2 assists per game right now. I want that number at around 4 for Green. Green had 10 points behind 5-of-14 shooting against Orladno. Even though the numbers don't show it. Green was trying to attack in the 4th. I didn't seem that way to me though.
"I couldn't make a shot," Green told CSNNE's Abby Chin in a postgame interview. "So I decided to try to get something going to the rim and got a few dunks."
Green finished with 10 points. He said the Celtics "defense and communication" were the keys down the stretch. "They got some shots to go at the end, but we stayed with it and didn't crumble."
