Celtics rookie Phil Pressey rolled his ankle Wednesday night, and it looked painful, but it sounds like an ankle injury won't slow the rookie down.
"I'm good," he told Rajon Rondo who offered to let him out of carrying his bag. "I'm good."
After the game, Pressey didn't seem overly concerned about the ankle being an issue going forward.
"I rolled this ankle before," said Pressey, who added that he sustained the injury in the first half Wednesday. "I just tweaked it again and it hurt a little bit more this time."
I've been impressed with the rookie point guard, and this isn't Gabe Pruitt 2.0, or Lester Hudson. This guy can ball off the bench. He's a solid backup, he's got a steady hand, and he can control the tempo, at least so far in preseason play.
