Boston opened the game on a 10-0 run, along with a 20-4 run, that led to a wire-to-wire win by 30 points against the Knicks. Kelly Olynyk added a team-high 15 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals over 25 minutes of work. Green has some signs of energy, but nowhere near the level that any of us want. His shot selection needs to improve, he was 3 of 12 overall,
Bradley, Brooks, and Crawford put up 13 points apiece. The Celtics defense was spot on. That held the Knicks to %33 shooting. Stevens has his first win in the NBA, and the next challenge is Brooklyn. Sullinger also had another solid night with 12 points and 5 boards. The energy level was improved, and despite the Knicks sitting Melo, Peace,Chandler, and Felton. The Celtics won the way they should have with those guys out.
Boston shot 54.2 percent (39 of 72) from the floor and that helped them in the rebounding category (45-34 overall).
