Celtics Nightcap: Chris Paul shows why I don't like him

Posted by shawn cassidy on August 1, 2013 at 12:35 AM

Chris Paul is a faker, and nobody dares to call him to the carpet on his behavior. If you want to call Rondo a Divo, I say think again. Chris Paul has been apart of a few coaches being fired in his time with New Orleans and LA. He won't say it, because maybe he won't sale his brand if he sounds like a heartless guy. Chris Paul wanted Del Negro out of Clipperland, and he got his wish. He wanted Doc Rivers, and the Clippers delivered, and soon after that Paul didn't waste anytime signing his brand new contract that will make him a Clipper for the prime of his career.

It was reported during the Doc debacle that Paul would possibly leave the Clippers if they didn't trade for Doc. Now it has been reported that Chris Paul for a lack of better words, bullied the Clippers, or pressured them with his departure if they didn't bring in Doc. Chris Paul is also a guy who wanted a trade out of New Orleans I guess all of this accepted now, how players how their franchises hostage because they're unhappy. The media sees this usually as a good thing. They believe all the star players should be in the big markets. I guess it's fair to say that sometimes it's understandable for a player to want a trade in certain circumstances. But with Paul, he's been a baby. He demanded a trade okay I get that, and he demands for coaches to be fired, and he plays hardball to get what he wants. He's a spoiled player, and he's been allowed to do that for so long that it's apart of who he is.

Chris Paul has been sneaky, and he tells the media what they want to hear, and he won't be honest with them anyway. They want to paint Chris Paul into the hero, and some others as the bad guys.

Grantland

To Chris Paul, who basically told the Clippers that after they squashed the first incarnation of their Doc Rivers trade. Chris didn't like that. He let them know he was heading to Houston to team up with Dwight. And he wasn't kidding. For about 36 hours, Morey probably felt like all 11 guys in Ocean's Eleven. You know what happened next: The Clippers blinked, the Doc trade got revived and finished, and the Clippers were offering Chris 107 million reasons to play for him. Crisis averted. The lesson, as always: Chris Paul runs the Clippers.

Makes me sick. Rondo has been incredibly loyal to his teammates and coach and to the team, but supposedly he's the bad attitude guy, and Chris Paul and Deron Williams are the darlings?

I want to wish Pierce and KG luck in Brooklyn, but with Williams there it makes it hard. Paul has been the chosen one since he was drafted. It's all according to plan for Paul and the NBA. Rondo doesn't belong, he's a 21st pick who over achieved.

Paul even plays dirty and flops alot but isn't called out for it as much as other stars who flop. Probably because he plays with blake griffin and people don't notice how much paul flops because blake flops a ton.

If wade was to throw chris paul to the ground or if anyone did that and he broke his elbow that would've atleast been a 1 game suspension but wade got nothing for breaking rondo's elbow. If rondo was to do that to someone also he would get suspended and fined heavily heck he got fined for fighting a bigger guy then him last season.

Though, come to think of it, Wade broke Kobe's nose and got away with it. He seems to be in a special class by himself with the league. License to kill...
