The Celtics and this years playoffs. That's a tough one to take in. Last year the path was odd. When Rose suffered his ACL injury it was all over for the Bulls, and the path to the Eastern Conference Finals became much easier for the Celtics. The 76ers gave the Celtics everything they had, and in the end it took an outstanding 4th quarter by Rondo to send the C's to the East Finals. The 2010 playoffs didn't work out like many had thought it would have either for the Celtics. This years Celtics will be a tough out, and that's all we know. I believe the Celtics will make it to the East Finals if they win their first round battle with the Knicks or Pacers. I think it will give the young Celtics confidence to win a second round series all against the Knicks or Pacers. That's if the Celtics hold onto the 7th seed.
When it comes to beating the Heat. It will take luck, and more luck. When I say luck. I mean the Celtics need to be nearly perfect. Limiting turnovers, and rebounding at a higher level. They have a deeper team, but they don't have their star player to battle with Lebron.I believe Green will need to play the series of his life for the Celtics to beat the Heat if they meet.
