Green silencing critics

Some things are said out of frustration. Some things are said when the heart is hurting. Words slip out, things you don't mean however could sound mean, and hurtful. Green has been in unpleasant situations in Boston. He was traded for a folk legend, and he was frustrating to watch. Jeff Green has been a sensitive subject for some in the past couple of years. Looking at Jeff Green now, and from what happened last season. I believe the Celtics would have beaten the Heat. Before Jeff's current run. Green was inconsistent, but he showed flashes of who he's become at this point in time. When it comes to Jeff Green. I think his recent play isn't because of Rondo being out. I think it's Green catching up with his conditioning. Mike Gorman said last night that Green's doctor said Green wouldn't be right until March 1st. I think it's safe to say that Green was a month ahead in his progress.
Tommy Heinsohn @CSNTommy Who won the #TommyAward? "Jeff Green did... this guy is in a groove. He has confidence and his teammates have confidence in him."
Tommy also told the Green haters to shut up. When he said that it made me want to rally around Green. Slovenly protesters begin the long march waving the usual banners one sees time and again. What do they say? "Green sucks", and "he's overrated". That's a small sample, and that's tame. Fading dreams in the morning mist. The smell of the ocean captures what it's like to be alive. Green flushing a dunk down on his opponent takes that fading dream, and he gives life to each of us. The blood rushes faster than a racing ambulance saving a life.
The power lies way deep inside; courage, faith, humility, patience. The same time you'll receive a tear drop on your feet. An hour will not pass by without wondering is this who Green really is. He seems full of confidence, but are we confident that this is the Green will get? The light you observe ahead is the end of the tunnel. It's an incoming train, and the name on that train is Green. Jeff has become a natural force. At times he looked lost. He looked like an animal at the zoo who was taken out of his or her natural habitat. Green looks in control, and this is what we want. A poor mans Lebron James. He's got the tools in his box, and he's got the blueprint at his desk. Green has constructed a nice run, and he shows flashes of Lebron. Don't take what I say out of context. He's not Lebron, but much like James being compared to Jordan. James is no Jordan, and Green is no James. Green has a skill set like James. With more confidence, and perhaps more trust from teammates. Green may become an all-star. But he's not a guy who can win MVP.
Of course we've seen late bloomers like Steve Nash, but that's rare, and unlikely in this case. Confidence that comes with hope, faith and belief is conditional. It musters strength but cannot ensure success. Real confidence comes through one’s discovery. Green has discovered something in the dead of night, and he's battled life, and death in his young life.
“He was awesome tonight,” said Pierce. “He’s coming into his own after a slow start, which you expect. It’s tough when you take a year off from basketball and try to get back into the game. But since January he’s just been phenomenal.”
With Rondo out. I have latched onto Green. I love Pierce, and KG, but I loved Rondo because he always had his back against the wall. The odds were stacked against him, and he had a line of haters waiting to watch him fall. Green is resilient , and resonates a lot from Rondo haters. So Green has been must see TV for me.
