Jeff Green had his best game as a Boston Celtic. Jeff Green scored a season-high 31 points on 11-of-14 shooting to go along with seven rebounds, five blocks and two steals. Green showcased what he's all about, and everything he's capable of . On a night when Doc decided to rest KG. Green ran with it in a starting role for the Celtics. On the same night Paul Pierce was able to take a half game off. He registered 26 minutes.
The Celtics scored the game's first 13 points, and that was the story. The Suns really never hit the ground running in this game, and when I found out that KG wasn't playing Friday night. I thought the Celtics were in for a long night. But thankfully every single Celtic stepped up against the Suns. Crawford made his Boston debut when he checked in with 2:04 to play in the first quarter. He was outstanding along with T-Will. Crawford's stat line for the night was 10 points, 2 assists, and 3 rebounds in 17 minutes of work. Wilcox had his best game of the season, and we need that from him almost every night. He had 14 points, and 8 rebounds. The Suns didn't use their size all night. The Celtics out rebounded them 45-40, and that was all she wrote on that.
The Celtics are stacked at every position, except bigs, but help is on the way. The Celtics can be deadly if Jeff Green can continue to grow.
