Terry: 'Never underestimate the heart of a champion'
|

After the game tonight Terry spoke with Greg Dickerson, and he proclaimed that this has the 'heart of a champion'. Jason Terry posted a season high with 26 points on 10-of-22 shooting. He cooled off as the Celtics entered overtime after overtime. But he's been more comfortable with his new teammates.
"Thank God for this victory tonight," Terry said. "Never underestimate the heart of a champion. We fought until the end. Every shot we seemed to take was short, didn;'t go in, didn't look like we had legs. Paul Pierce, how many shots has he hit? Kevin Garnett, 50 years old, still finding a way. Then I come up with a key steal. Just a tremendous win for us tonight."
This was one of those games that help mold a team. The Celtics could have given in. They were down 4 in the second overtime, and they were down three in the final 30 seconds before Green hit a corner three with 24 seconds to go in the first overtime. The Celtics were hit with the worst news when they started this streak when they lost Rondo, and they were given another blow when they lost Sully for the season. The win over Denver was a great moment in the face of adversity. They fought through the troubles, and even without Rondo this team has heart.
This team has confidence, and they believe in one another. And you can't say that about every team. This team has adopted the mentality of lets do it for Rondo, and lets show the world we can shake things up, and were not dead. It's still must see TV with the Celtics, and they never disappoint.

Sorry, but I don't think they are doing it for Rondo. And Terry kinda makes me sick. But KG was huge.
Paul's stating the Terry hater club.

But I'm so confused and probably scared right now of this whole situation that I just keep changing my mind. Sorry guys if I keep posting different comment!!
It's a great comment, Morena. How can these guys speak of having hearts of champions? Two weeks ago they had the heart of a poodle.
