The Nuggets are winners of 9 straight, and coming off a win Saturday night against the Cavs 111-103. The Celtics have matched their best winning streak of 6 games. The Celtics have beaten some bad teams, and some okay teams, and they beat the defending champs without Rondo during this stretch of games. This game will be the biggest test for the Rondo-less Celtics since losing him. Not only are the Nuggets riding high these days. They're creeping up the Western Conference seeding. They sit at the 4th spot, and only one loss behind the third seeded Clippers. So, what should the Celtics look out for against the Nuggets?
The Celtics defense will be tested. The Nuggets are the third best scoring team with 104.7 points a game. They're the 4th best shooting team in the league with 47% from the field. They don't hit three's all that well though. They rank 27th while shooting 338. % from three. The Nuggets are also the second best rebounding team in the NBA While the Celtics are one of the worst. The Nuggets are a tough team. They have loads of young talent, and veteran guys that go with the younger players. I think this game will tell us if the Celtics are legit without Rondo. And I don't even like calling the Celtics legit without Rondo. Because they're not. The Celtics had the past two days off, and I'm sure the Nuggets will be tired. After playing Cleveland, and than enduring the snow storm effects. This game is a big test for the Celtics. Both teams seem to play the same kind of basketball. The Nuggets are based around their team game much like the Celtics now.
