Sully continues to grow

"It’s coming easier," Sullinger admitted. "Obviously, it’s been 36 games, so I should be used to the NBA by now. It’s just me and my comfort zone right now."
"Yeah, he has a great IQ, he's understanding the system. It seems like he's always in the right place at the right time," said Paul Pierce. "His instincts for the ball are really great, he has great hands, and I think he's getting more and more confidence as the season goes on, as he continues to play well, as he continues to get more minutes, and he's looking like a veteran out there."
It's becoming easier for the young man. Jared has been a factor this season, and for some before the season even started it was hard to imagine that Sully would be one of the x factors on the bench. Sully's averaged 10.2 points and 10.2 rebounds over his last five games, and if the Celtics continue to see that kind of production than the league must be put on notice.
Sometimes it's an offensive rebound and a put back. Other times it's turning what appears to be a whole lot of nothing into a considerable something. Sully has the gift, and it's been apart of Sully, and it feeds others.
"I think at first he was used to like one speed and kind of being able to dominate, and on this level, multiple people can dominate him, and I think he's done a great job of making the adjustments and [he's a] very smart kid, man," said Kevin Garnett. "The thing with him, I always tell him, just, 'Repetitive. Consistency. Be consistent with what you're doing.' And he's been doing that. I'm glad to see him do well, man."
Sully has become that sponge that soaks up everything. I think the numbers could be here to stay. The Celtics need Sully.
“He’s an old school kind of guy,” said Houston coach Kevin McHale (No. 32 peering down from the rafters) of Sullinger. “He doesn’t jump much, just pushes you under. Shocking as it is, it surprises people. No one boxes out anymore, so he’ll be in good shape.
