What are Celtic fans thinking: Old, and dead Celtics

Usually after every game I scan other Celtic sites checking out what the nation has so say. Tonight I pulled comments from an article that was posted on ESPN.

Pierce falls in love with the 3 ball really quickly tooo.

Flaghellomynameispride

they're all good looks .

Rajondilicious

its bc he cant drive anymore....he will not even try to get to his sweet spot at elbow anymore.

I agree with all three statements. Pierce is in love with the three ball, and he gets great looks usually. Plus his ability to drive isn't the same, although he's still effective when he takes it to the rim. Pierce is crafty, but he's not getting the same foul calls as he did when he was younger. The problem with the Celtics offense is usually when they stop passing the ball, and it becomes hero ball time with Pierce. Paul is still very good, but he needs to play with Rondo. When they play together, it all comes together for the Celtics.

Big C's fan but there is no way Rondo should be one of the starting guards for the East. Wade is obviously going to get the first slot and Kyrie Irving is the best PG in the East right now with no DRose. Though, if Irving rounds his game out I could see him rivaling Rose for best guard in the coming years.

I would have said yes to this fan if he had a better argument. Kyrie's  team is near the bottom in the East, and he's missed a good portion of the season because of injury. Rondo on the other hand is on a team with a better record although it should be much better, and Rondo also leads the league in assists. Rose would be starting this season, and so Rondo needs to enjoy this chance. Wouldn't that be great to see Rondo win MVP at the all-star game. 90% of starters win the award. Only a handful of bench guys win the MVP.

Mitch Richmond, and Glen Rice from the 90's to name a few. Nobody since Glen Rice in 97" has won an All-star MVP. I would love to see Rondo pull that off. And let's be real the voting isn't the greatest. It seems like every year the voting doesn't make sense. As a Celtics fan you should be happy for the guys in Green.

this is business, i love Green and Bass but they have to GO!!!! for the love of God, D.A has to put a couple of more players with them plus a 1st round pick for next year and lets deal them off . PLEEZZE

This is not business, but it's about making a team better. I think you must trade one of the two players. Because frankly they play similar roles in a sense. With Green here this season, Bass hasn't been himself all season. If I had to pick a player I'd chose Bass to trade. We need a rebounding big who can protect the rim. That's easier said than done though.

every player danny signed this off season sucks

That's powerful line. But to give Ainge credit he tried. Danny did what we wanted right? He resigned everyone, and he replaced Allen with Terry, and he brought in some young guys. The Celtics lost three players that gave the Celtics intangibles, and toughness, and defense. On paper Pietrus, and Dooling, and Daniels are no match for Green, Lee, and Terry. But they played as a team last season despite the poor start. They turned it around with grit.

That guy talking about the all star game is obviously a Kyrie fan. Unfortunately, they seem to be flooding the internet. So many fans are like sheep, lapping up hype. Kyrie is good for sure. Up until two weeks ago, Rondo totally deserved the spot, even if he wasn't playing as well as we hoped he would. Right now, he doesn't deserve to be at the all star game at all, I hope he earns his spot back over the next few weeks and then some. We need it and he needs it.

Who would u put in Rondos place? I think despite his poor play he has enough to go, and he's got time to pick it up.
