Celtics Title Town

I don't need to tell you how intense Kevin Garnett is. We all know how animated he is on the floor. KG hasn't been one to back down from anything. Many believe KG's bark is bigger than his bite, and that's true, and it's true of 90% of the NBA. Only a few crazy people remain in the NBA, and Ron Artest is one of them, but not KG.

KG is known to talk to himself out there in the most heated battles. And he talks trash to the other team as well.  But does he initiate talking with teammates?

“If you’re sitting over here bullsh@tting, they tend to bullsh@t,” he said. “That’s why I don’t really talk a lot. I like to be the example. Anything after practice that I can help them with, I kind of pull them to the side and show them different things. We watch a lot of film in the locker room and talk. For these young guys, man, I just try to be there for when they need me. I’m not a guy to push myself on anybody, but anything that they want to know, anything that they’re having trouble with, I try to be accessible to them.”

That's not a bad approach. If a player wants to get better, shouldn't they come to him? I'm kind of confused, maybe I'm wrong, and feel free to tell me, but weren't we discussing KG as a  vocal coach, and weren't many Celtic blogs raving about KG's coaching of the bigs? But KG is  saying he doesn't talk much. But I guess he's still leading, and being a coach, but he's just leading by example. He's letting his game do the talking. But when it comes down to the playoffs, or winning big games, don't expect KG to sit there, and be quiet.
