The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Celtics Preseason Game 2 vs Armani

The Good

:D  For the second game in a row. Rondo showed us what to expect this season. In the first quarter Rondo put up 17 points on 7-of-7 shooting. Hitting a pair of freebies as well. Rondo's jumper looks amazing, and the rest of the league will have to look at him differently. This is the start of something big.

:D The Celtics crashed the boards. Darko had 9 boards, and Sullinger had 7 rebounds. Bass also chipped in with 8 rebounds. The Celtics out rebounded the Armani squad 54-35. The Celtics nearly grabbed 20 more rebounds this time around. Let's hope this is a trend that will last during the season.

:D The defense returned, and it was mostly the second unit. The Celtics held Armani to 75 points, and 31% shooting. And as you know the Celtics beat them on the boards. Darko also wowed us with 4 blocks, and hopefully that happens in the season. Overall the defense looked like a championship team.

The Bad

:( Jason Collins played 12 minutes with no points, and just three rebounds. I wasn't impressed by him. Without a doubt Sully, and Darko will play over Collins this season.

:/ The Celtics gave up nine 3's. Although the defense was on point. The Celtics need to defend the three-point line better. I will never forget Mike Miller, and Shane Battier destroying the Celtics in-game seven. Can't happen C's.

The Ugly

:o Their wasn't anything ugly about the Celtics win. The Celtics really showed signs of improvement in this game against Armani. The Celtics will head back to Boston and the real games will start soon enough. The next preseason game will be this coming Sunday against the Knicks.

Got to defend Threes better. or Ray Allen will kill us. And we DON'T want to see that.

Worried about Wilcox.

Yes worried about both. Wilcox can take his time. We have depth, but its already being tested with Wilcox out. They last two games were kind of off with threes because the two teams shot an amazing amount. The Celtics held them to 30%From 3.
