Why would a guy like KG full of pride, and integrity contact Ray? He shouldn't contact Ray. It sounds harsh, and evil saying that. But Ray Allen is on the other side now. Your either with the Celtics, or your not. Ray made his choice, and honestly it sounds like the Celtics dodged a bullet more and more.
Ray Allen said ankle issue likely will be ongoing throughout the season, something he will have to manage.
He said he never wanted to let on publicly how serious it was last season in Boston.
I don't think Ray will be the same. He's 37, and he makes his living by running, and running. Plus he needs that ankle to get the perfect lift for his three-point shot. KG said it best about Ray.
"I don’t have Ray’s number any more," Garnett said at the Celtics' media day at their training center on Friday. "I’m not trying to communicate. I'm just being honest with everybody in here... It’s just what it is.
KG has moved on, and so should all of us. But it's easier said than done. The Heat are the Celtics prime rival in the East. So it's hard to get away from it. Will just have to deal with it.
