Rondo the icon

A revolution is never easy, You can call this a revolution, or so you want a revolution?
"You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world"
-John Lennon
Rondo you may not change the world. But he can change the world of round-ball. But as generations roll over, his yearning shouldn't be shunned. His charisma shines more with his ability to pass the ball on the court , compared to speaking in front of the world.
A ground and a stage that were empty, somewhere in the heart of the city of Boston. In which was arranged for a spectacular show, or a form of art using an orange ball as the brush. That game was to have a hero whom millions bowed to. Thousands of visitors at the gate, totally focused and they had to wait. Ran with utmost speed inside when the gates were set completely open. All eyes wanted too watch the genius at work.
.
As the hero of the mass made himself appear. Rondo was shy, but he gets it. He can be smarter than his own good. What's so special about the one single person? The music that he created was the only reason? His music was the pounding of the ball on the hardwood. Or a bounce pass that is perfectly bounced on the hardwood that whips by the defender.
The cheers of the multitude and their exclamation lives with us. It makes Rondo iconic. People follow him around like they did Hari Krisna in the 60's. The hot topic now has become Rondo's ability to surpass Cousy. I think Rondo will pass him in the record books easily. But Rondo must put together something special. That special moment must be one more ring. Rondo has become someone of many faces. Some view him as an artist. Some view him as a Divo. Some may think of him as an overrated player. Some see him as an MVP.
Rondo has slowly become an icon worldwide. Time will tell if it lasts forever, or that if it's just a fading fad. Personally I believe Rondo is here for a long time.

How can one speak with such certainty? I don't know. I just feel it coming, like a gathering storm. I feel the electricity in the air.
The Celtics' secret weapon is that most of the league hates them. That means that the only players who want to come here are players who understand what this team is about.
