Celtics square off against the Heat opening night

Posted by shawn cassidy on July 24, 2012 at 8:05 AM

I didn't post about it yesterday. And I know everyone knows by now. But the Celtics well head down to Miami, and watch the Heat raise their banner on opening night on October 30th. I think that's pretty messed up. I know the Heat had to endure  it last season against the Mavs. But come on David Stern, why put a team through this? Well, the good news about heading to Miami for the first time during their ring ceremony? It should fuel the Celtics, if they even need it. I think this group will use it to go out and beat the Heat in the first game of the season.

Of course will get to see Ray on the Heat right away. Should make for a good first game of the season.

I'm sure the guys will be so poisoned after seeing the ceremony!!
What will Ray Allen do watching his team raising the banner they stole from him the year before?

Talk about motivation in camp, I would hate to be one of the new guys. Sullinger will get it. At Ohio State you can lose every game as long as you beat Michigan and it is still a good season. The Heat better bring their lunch.

It's all about TV ratings. Since it will be a Tuesday night, I am sure TNT had a lot to do with it.

Thank you NBA. I will take this as a great compliment for allowing us to be the first to battle it out with the "Champs". I bet you're scared RayRay.

I don't blame you...
