The Celtics will hit the practice floor for the first time since April, 3rd. The Celtics have endured so many games since than. A back-to-back-to-back, and many five games in seven nights. It's crazy knowing the Celtics don't practice. How can they with their rock band type schedule.
Avery Bradley, a Celtic who has built significant personal momentum over the last month, is looking forward to an actual practice. "We need to work on everything — go in the gym and stay healthy," said Bradley. "We know if we execute, everything else will work itself out. I feel like that’s good for us.
"Guys will be able to get rest, and we’ll be able to get in the gym and get practices in.""There's so many things we can get done now. We'll be putting stuff in for the playoffs, and we'll also be taking out the things that didn't work. We'll be putting in new things. And my (coaching staff) will be doing more."
It will be good to practice for the Celtics right before the playoffs, but it doesn't mean a whole lot because their still battling injuries. Rondo out with his back, Ray with the same ankle, and Pietrus with his knee issue. It will be good for the young guys, and for the new big men the Celtics signed. Doc, and the coaching staff can give them extra attention. Hopefully will get some good news today from practice. Maybe will get a better picture on the injuries, and what Doc will do in the final two games.
It has been insane that the Celtcs have turned their season around without practice, but this core knows each other so I am not that surprised.
