I love KG. What made me think of this was watching him on Rondo's and1. As Rondo began his charge to the basket, KG put himself in position to provide a screen if Rondo came out the other side of the basket. But he watched the play, and when he decided that Rondo was going to go for the hoop, he quickly but imperceptibly slid out to the wing to provide a perfect passing option. Watch him do that and then look at the other guys - look at how they are just watching the play instead of participating in it off the ball like KG is.

And anyone who questions Rondo's toughness should check out that charge he took. That guy came at him HARD and Rondo stood as still as a statue and went down equally hard. Such a freaking tough kid he is. I've got to give kudos to the Kings player who hit him on that play. You can see that the first thing he does when he comes off the floor is look at Rondo to see if Rondo is ok. Nice to see that kind of mentality - makes one feel good about professional basketball. The refs can be jerks, and some players are, but some are there for the game and don't want to hurt anyone.

The pass to Bass is pure Rondo - this is the affect on the defense that Aggressive Rondo gives you - as he attacks the basket, he draws three defenders, which sets up the easy lay down to Bass. But Rondo has to establish himself as an attacker for that to work.

Nice music!
