Nice! I look forward to this, and who knows, maybe that jumper falls in for Rondo!

I want to believe that by selecting Rondo to the all star team, and putting him in the skills challenge, the league was basically saying "sorry" for what happened in Detroit. Rondo was absolutely right to go off on the referee for not even a foul being called on a play where he could have suffered a career ending injury.
I respect Rondo for standing up for himself. Remember, this has to be taken in the context of what has happened over the past year. Can anyone remember a player with a target on his back like the one Rondo has on his? He had his left arm almost wrecked by Wade; his right arm almost wrecked by Kleiza; and thankfully nothing hurt by Monroe. But we are talking about three guys deliberately slamming Rondo to the floor in LESS THAN A YEAR. Each one of those should have been a flagrant foul and a suspension. Well, maybe the Monroe one should have just been a flagrant foul, because it's not clear that he actually intended to hurt Rondo. He may have been just aiming to beat the hell out of him.

Rondo HAD to stand up for himself. That was one of the most egregious and, frankly, DANGEROUS, non-calls I recall ever seeing. Hopefully the league gets that and we will see a change in Rondo refereeing.

YEAH, WHERE IS THE PLAYER WHO KNOCKED DOWN RONDO? What did the league do to him? Rondo had a bad injury last season from the hands of Wade. This season has that written all over it.

The league MUST be trying to send Rondo a message, and the officials a message, that it isn't open season on Rondo after all. They'd better be, because he won't last long at this rate.
