"IN RONDO WE TRUST"

Celtics Heat Live Thread

This should be an exciting game tonight.    Questions that come to mind ...

. will the Celtics come to play early?

. can Rondo continue his aggressive play?

.can anyone guard Lebron?

.will anyone other than Brandon Bass step up off the bench?

-----------------------------

End of first quarter.

.We are so lucky to be behind buy only .

. Poor start again.  I have the impression that the Cs didn't have much by way of a gameplan, and Rondo seemed to warm up very slowly.

.Lebron is dominating, but Pavlovic is playing better.

.The bench is playing well so far.

I hope the starters come back like proud lions.  I hope Rondo keeps shooting the Js even if they aren't falling.  I hope the Cs belatedly remember to play aggressive basketball.  Rondo seems to be in a trance, losing the ball over and over again.

--------------------------------

End of half.   Cole was killing us.  Rondo needs to take care of his man on D.  But basically, he and Ray Ray played like heroes on the offensive end and kept us in the game.   We scored enough points to win.   If we can raise our defensive intensity, we have a chance to come back.

.We need more D.

.We need Garnett to come alive.

.We need Rondo to keep attacking.  He led both teams in FTs.  That's what we need.  But we need other guys attacking the basket too.  WE CANNOT LIVE IN FEAR of the Heat defense, even though they are fearsome shotblockers (Wade blocking shots left and right).

. We are lucky to still be in this game, but we still have a chance.

Pierce out more? Celtics win without Pierce it will be a good sign of depth.

Celtics are getting hammered early. Yuck. Pavlovic seems to be playing better, but no one else is, specially rondo

I guess Cs getting creamed was predictable, but I did hope Rondo would come out with a stronger game.

Wow. Turnovers. No D. No hustle for rebounds. This is looking like a total blowout.

We are so lucky this game isn't out of control. Here's hoping the bench can make some headway.

14 fts for Miami. The Cs have to attack more. That's when you get calls.

Rondo with two fts and hits both - excellent sign!
