When it comes to NBA basketball. There are three things that I care about. First a Celtics championship, second a Lakers season much like this year, and third in this era of NBA ball all I want to see is Lebron lose. The experts of course pick the Heat, and why not? They have the MVP,and they almost made history, well they still made history by reaching 27 games won in a row, that of course is second best.

The Pacers have an outside shot. They are big, and that's a big weakness for this Heat team. Can that advantage make enough of a difference for a series win? People are making the assumption that James will never lose a playoff series for the rest of his career. He won one title, and until he wins a second. He's not there yet like Jordan, where he was truly unbeatable in the 90's. James still has some road blocks. There's a team out west that looks prime for a championship this year.

Market Square to Way Down There
Now we move from Tom Petty’s visions of Market Square in Indianapolis. Side note: I either played or heard my brother playing Tom Petty’s Greatest Hits CD about 938 times in 8th, 9th and 10th grade. I also heard Tom Petty songs daily when they were played to death on Boston’s classic rock radio station. (Thanks, BMG music service, or was it Columbia House for those countless “CD’s of the Month,” when I forgot to check “No, I DON”T want a Hootie & the Blowfish album!”
