The Celtics started out of the gates fast exploding to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. The Celtics ended with 39 first quarter points and that would mark their highest point total in a quarter all season. The Celtics would lead the Nuggets by 27 in the first half, but this is the NBA leads are never safe and it wasn't against the Nuggets who out scored the Celtics 33-23 in the third quarter cutting the lead to 3 in the third.
The Celtics got a break when Ty Lawson was lost for the game after he scored 20 points on the Celtics in three quarters. Lawson was handling Bradley and who ever picked him up on the defensive end. The Celtics survived the Nuggets and finished them off 106-88. My MVP for the night is Kris Humphries who posted a season high 18 points, and he also grabbed 7 rebounds. Kris stepped in the third scoring 8 of Boston's 23 points in the frame.
Sullinger was hampered with foul trouble and never got a groove going. Humphries came in and took over for him. Crawford was great again with 22 points and 8 assists. Bradley was outstanding with 18 points, and Green was solid with 15 points. This is a solid win for the Celtics who improve to 9-12.
- Celtics 25 Assists and just 9 Turnovers.
- Celtics 44 points in the paint.
- Celtics 51% shooting
