The Celtics jumped out on the Rockets 27-19 in the first quarter, and things fell apart since that point. The Rockets changed the game when they came out firing in the second quarter. The Rockets out scored the Celtics 33-16 in the frame, and it set the tone for things to come. The Celtics showed some life in the 4th quarter, Brooks got some playing time, and he made the best of his opportunity, not at the stat sheet, with just 2 points, but he looked good, and got his shots up.
Bayless was the man behind the big turnaround in the 4th, Bayless finished with 17 points off the bench, 15 of those 17 points came in the 4th. The Celtics couldn't complete the comeback, they lost 104-92. The losing streak is at 9, and the Celtics have two more chances at home to end this streak before they hit the road for a few games.
Avery Bradley scored 14 of his team-high 24 points in the first quarter, and he was the one starter that the Celtics could count on for offense. Green was 2-of-10 for the game with 4 points. Sully was 3-of-11 for the game, after he returned to the starting unit, and Bass has been moved to the bench. Dwight Howard scored a game-high 32 points on 11-of-17 shooting, and it's the best of scene Howard since his days in Orlando.
