Avery Bradley had a good night, with 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.Boston flirted with a win tonight. They held another halftime lead, but the Blazers got hot in the third quarter scoring 32 points. Portland did what they do best, nailing 10 three's, and scoring when they need to. Boston had the lead over Portland for a over 30 minutes tonight, but maybe the C's got a bit tired, as Portland pulled out the game 112-104.
Jeff Green finished with 16, with 6-of-15 shooting, not great at all. His foul shooting has been dreadful this season, he was 4-of-7 for the game. Crawford was cold as well, shooting 6-of-16 for 13 points. Sullinger finished with a double-double off the bench, 14 and 10. Boston when they had the lead shot between 50-60% on the night, but they finished with 46.3%.
Overall the effort was there tonight, the Celtics regained some self respect after the Denver game. They were in the last three games on the road, and Brad should have some good from this road trip, oh well. Here are the big stats of the night.
- C's lose the glass 49-46
- C''s 25 assists and just 9 Turnovers
- Boston 46 points in the paint
