The Celtics got some great looks in the 4th, I would have to agree with Stevens on that assessment. Stevens also felt they played with more aggression tonight, compared to Tuesday against the Hawks. The Celtics are losing these games at home by the smallest of margins, Stevens believes his guys are not "laying down", and I agree with Stevens on that as well. The Celtics shot 15% in the 4th quarter. That's not going to win ball games. The Celtics had 9 more attempts over the Pelicans in the 4th quarter, and that's what you want. They forced 5 turnovers, but the Celtics couldn't maximize those turnovers.
"I thought we got really good looks for the most part," Stevens said. "I really did. ... We didn't play tentative -- that was a different fourth quarter than we played here when we blew a couple of leads the last couple of weeks. I thought we were much more aggressive, and for whatever reason we didn't make shots."
The Celtics have lost some swagger, and I felt like this game would have given them much needed confidence for the road ahead, which is rough. The Celtics won't survive in OKC with a 15% quarter, especially if it comes in the 4th quarter.
