The Celtics are riding a three game skid, and things seem to be falling apart for the young Celtics who were once the surprise story of the 2013-14 season. The overachieving Celtics dropped another one at home Friday night, 95-92, to the Pelicans. The Celtics couldn't put the ball in the basket, they did their part by only turning the ball over 9 times, but it wasn't enough with the Celtics shooting 34.8% from the field.
The Celtics are losing close games, and games at home that they should walk away from as the winner. The Pelicans are a solid young team, and they put the Celtics in check on their home floor. Anthony Davis scored 10 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter and Tyreke Evans helped out with 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists off the bench. Green and Bass scored 16 points apiece, and AB lead all scores for the Celtics with 22 points. The Celtics will hit the road, they'll see one of the best teams in the NBA, and one of the best home teams in the past 5 years. Yes, I'm talking about the Thunder.
